1.0 Introduction Halal is a word origin from Arabic which is mean by permissible. This word is also spelled as hallal or halaal. Halal is also define as object or action which is permissible to use, according to Islamic law. This terms covers food and drink as well as all the matters of daily life. In halal food industry Malaysia is one of the world’s leading hub. In Malaysia every halal issue is all monitor by JAKIM. Besides JAKIM is also the world’s first halal certification body responsible for monitoring the halal industry. Halal is also term used to describe meats to be blessed. The animals are prayed because they are sacrificing themselves for us. This action is commonly practice in the Middle East under Shari’ah (law).

The halal food market has grown aggressively over the past decade and now halal food market worth an estimated USD 667 million. Many food economists posit that the halal food industry will become the main market force in the coming future based on four prevalent trends. It is because nowadays halal food represent close up to 20% of the entire global food industry. And food economists expect by 2050 the demand for food will increase up to 70% due to the increase in both population and income of halal consumers. Besides there are also two factors that show the growth of halal food industry. Firstly, Islam is now the fastest growing religion in the world thus the demand for halal product will getting higher and higher. There is a figure shows that the annual growth in halal food consumption is estimated at 16%. Secondly, non- Muslim also started to practice consuming halal food products for ethical and safety. For example, in United Kingdom, there are 2 million and above Muslims, but there are 6 million consumers of halal products. These two factors have made halal products mainstream consumer
