Studying Abroad is Better than Studying in Kuwait The debate over advantages and disadvantages of staying and studying in foreign countries is a worldwide topic. In Kuwait also the topic is very imperative. Many students refuse traveling abroad because they heard drawbacks of living abroad. So that, when it comes to studying abroad, it is an important topic to discuss. Studying abroad the country is not new thing, universities from ancient times had international students. Today a lot of students travel to study abroad. In Kuwait, the most favored destinations for studying abroad are United States, United Kingdome, Canada, Australia and some other European countries. Students can learn new languages; they share interests with other students. They will learn how it feels to live individually. They learn how to take decisions without family support. This will support their creativity. According to the study “Cultural borders and mental barriers: the relationship between living abroad and creativity” 2009 by William Maddux and Adam Galinsky “Studies 1 and 2 provided initial demonstrations that time spent living abroad showed a positive relationship with creativity. Study 3 demonstrated that priming foreign living experiences enhanced creative tendencies for students who lived abroad. In Study 4, the people had adapted to different cultures while living abroad made the link between foreign living and creativity. This can be absolutely true since students and ordinary people there face a different and new education system. They watch new places, which extended their thoughts. All these make student assured and influential which leads them a fruitful life.
