Year-round schooling is a better system than traditional because it’s better for students learning, it keeps kids involved and engaged, and, as much as this might surprise you, it doesn’t mean less vacation time. So on that first day back, your probably freaking out. Your thinking, “I DON’T REMEMBER THIS!! HOW CAN A TEACHER EXPECT ME TO REMEMBER THIS STUFF AFTER A WHOLE SUMMER! !” They shouldn’t.
And if sports make kids look forward for school kids will want to go so they will get better grades through sports. Today studies show that schools with sports have lower dropout rates. That means that if kids look forward to sports after school they will want to go to school. Finally, another reason sports make kids look forward to school is if they had a game the night before that they did good in they can talk to their friends about it in the halls or in class. That makes kids look forward to school because they want to go to school and talk about it.
Four-day school weeks have the capability to change student lives. Every school should invest in the four-day school week plan. Implementing this routine would allow teachers more time to teach and give students the option to do their homework during class, in turn creating student success. All of these factors would help to enhance student and faculty life, while promoting success in the classroom. Having a school system run on a four-day rotation would increase their success by offering more opportunities for lesson and work time.
Students in year-round schools tend to remember what they learn. That is because their breaks aren 't too long.” This shows that with shorter breaks children don 't forget what they have learned and teachers have more time to plan better lessons. The way it would make the transition and overall experience fast is by allowing students to get basic classes done in high school and making it unnecessary to wait years to apply to a college. By letting students get the basic classes done it is then letting them get into more specialized classes earlier on, instead of waiting because they’re schedule is too full. Also by being free, it means students don’t have to work in a low-end job for years to slowly accumulate the funds necessary to pay for

It makes them more confident when talking to the opposite sex, which students will need as they pursue their career as an adult. Students in single-sex classrooms will one day live and work side-by-side with members of the opposite sex. Educating students in single-sex schools limit their opportunity to work cooperatively and co-exist successfully with members of the opposite sex.
