This competition can be between store versus store, and website vs website. The competition can also happen between the traditional store and the online store. There was a report by ComScore during the 2013 Holiday shopping season saying that there was a 10 percent increase of Online Spending compared to last year’s Holiday shopping season. (Walker, 2014). The results of that report by ComScore can mean a few things. It can mean that customers find online shopping convenient and that they don’t have to travel to different stores just to obtain that item.
